Retooling
Hello everyone,
I am writing to say I have completed two years of novitiate (seminary) at Grand Coteau, Louisiana. I took perpetual vows of poverty, chastity and obedience as a Jesuit scholastic on Wednesday, August 15, feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Due to the demands of my fall seminary studies, I will not be reviving this website in the immediate future. But please keep an eye on the links and feel free to look for me on Facebook.
Immediately following vow day, I'll be pursuing an MA in philosophy at Loyola University of Chicago, where I will be stationed for the next three years. Please keep me in your prayers and feel free to drop me a line at my new address:

One last thing... At the vow Mass I took Ignatius of Loyola as my vow name, making this my full name:

Sorry I can't make it tomorrow. Monica and I will be thinking of you.
I look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks!
By the way, your link places me in Louisiana, which I am sure is a very nice place to live--though I haven't even visited. Still, Monica objects to us living in separate states. In a few weeks we will both be in Ohio.
While I'm polluting your comment box, I might also add that as much as I love the Long Walk, the Sages is my main blog. I would recommend the LW blog for specialists only.
Congrts on this, a wonderful day. I know you do not know me and the chance of us ever meeting is small; however, you are highly spoken of my your friends who love you dearly! So I feel like I almost know you. You will be in my prayers.
I must say, Mr. Salai, I was looking forward to this blog being reactivated. I am sad to see that it will not be. Of course, there are more important things.
